EL PASO, Texas – Another 11 women accuse an El Paso hotel worker of secretly shedding skirts at a UTEP hotel in a. having filmed Fall that dates back to May.

Three months ago, 13 women have filed civil lawsuits claims that David Monastere secretly dressed their skirts with a hidden camera in a toilet during a care conference. Now 11 more women from Borderland are joining the lawsuit against him and his employer, the Hilton Garden Inn El Paso University hotel.

The lawyers for the more than 20 women will hold a press conference on the case next Wednesday.

Police also arrested Monastere on criminal charges arising from the hotel incident, but he was released from prison on $ 45,000 bail pending trial.

In civil proceedings, the women are demanding monetary damages and demanding the monastere hired by the hotel, even though he had an extensive criminal record. Records show that the history of Monastere includes:

  • He was sentenced to six years in prison in 2000 for assault with a lethal weapon.
  • He was arrested by UTEP police after being accused in 2013 of improperly touching women, although those charges were eventually dropped.
  • And earlier this year, he was charged with nine cases of invasive visual recordings after the first 13 alleged hotel victims came forward.

Police have not indicated whether Monastere may face further criminal charges given the additional women who have now also been victims.

Back in May, one of his accusers – who wanted to remain anonymous – voiced these concerns to ABC-7: “He knows our names, he knows which department we work in, he knows which hospital we work in.”

She added, “I am clearly more afraid because I am more aware of who is around me. When we go to the bathroom I thought it was silly to look, but now I check the trash cans and lift the lids and make sure nothing is in. “
