While Blake Griffin Seems a long way from his time as an All-NBA player, with teams taking an interest in the six-time All-Star after his buyout with the Detroit flask.

Knee surgery that stopped its 2019-20 season After just 18 games, his play this season has had an impact on a rebuilt Pistons team, resulting in the buyout on Friday.

If healthy, Griffin could help some teams as a secondary playmaker and occasional low post scorer, providing a veteran presence with a competitor. Here are five possible options for Griffin:

Brooklyn networks

The nets seem like a logical option and need depth at the front after losing Jarrett Allen by doing James Harden Deal. Griffin is not a backline defender, but he can play small ball center in cans, and his playing versatility could add value to a second unit. He’s developed a greater range in recent years, but he’s only shot 31% out of 3-point range this season.

Getting back to LA seems to be the main attraction. The Lakers were hit with the Anthony Davis injury and need corpses in the meantime. Griffin could play for a team that has title aspirations and stick to the Clippers franchise sent him to Detroit Months after he called him “Clipper for life,And begin to build his life in entertainment after his career.

intense heat

Seems like a long shot with all of the movement Miami demands from its greats, but the heat has rarely hesitated to make their team better. As a hub that can facilitate movement around him, he could bewitch the burden Jimmy Butler puts on to create shots for everyone.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors battle to get shots outside of Stephen Curry’s movement and rank 22nd on the offensive. Adding a body in Griffin could help out of the pinch as an offensive option, and he has improved as a playmaker who hasn’t flipped the ball much in recent seasons.

Portland Trail Blazer

Damian Lillard needs help, and while a top-notch Griffin goes a lot better with this version, a bit on the sidelines can help while Portland gets by without CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, and Zach Collins. The Blazers are one of the worst defensive teams in the league (28th on the defensive), and Griffin won’t be of much help there.
