Do you have a cool dad? Don’t get him another tie, buy him something cool and unique this year.

We spoke to our friend, stylist and personal shopper Marv Neal (he prefers to be known as a style curator). He is known for putting together clothing for catwalks, movies, and printing. He also has his own style impression, Jeanous denim repurposed the denim to suit a high fashion aesthetic.

We asked Neal where to find a great gift for the fashionable Detroit dad.

While Neal is an expert on women’s styling, as a man he has a personal view of what it takes to make men fly. For him, men’s styling is more of a mysticism. “Men look best when their look is casual,” he says.
