The highly anticipated Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia Hotel, brought to life by a team comprised of Linda Snyder Associates and AO Architects, makes its debut after three years of construction.

This 234-room hotel brings Le Méridien’s European heritage to Southern California, with hints of the brand’s signature mid-century modern aesthetic.

“We look forward to working with the Arcadia community and are already working on other exciting collaborations with our neighbors to continue showing what there is to discover in the region,” said Matt Marquis, CEO at Pacifica Hotels. “From Santa Anita Park to art and shopping, Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia looks forward to seducing guests with fascinating experiences.”

An artful lifestyle meeting place

The new hotel houses the Mélange restaurant, which showcases chef Mako’s Asian-European cuisine, and Le Scoop by Le Méridien, which serves European-inspired gelatos and sorbets. These are complemented by the inclusion of the Grand Bar Longitude 118, which offers a high tea and highballs cocktail program, characteristic aperitifs and petit plates.

The property’s 14,000 m² conference and event space includes five separate rooms, including three for private meals, as well as 1,800 m² event space and a spacious event lawn. The ballroom here has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, doors to the lawn, and views of the nearby racetrack.

In addition to providing 24-hour in-room dining, the hotel also offers poolside deliveries and outdoor dining experiences.

The entire public space is home to a variety of art installations curated by local consultancy Daniel Fine Art, including works by Ron Dier Design, Serge Bloch, David Ellis, and William Attaway. There is also a signature fragrance developed by Malin + Goetz and a signature soundtrack courtesy of French bossa nova band Nouvelle Vague.
