That’s why Travelocity works with a mother, actress and entrepreneur Sarah Michelle Gellar to host a live zoom cooking demo November 24, 2020. The family-friendly event is free and open to the first 1,000 attendees who can register and attend via a Zoom video conference.

  • APPOINTMENT TIME: November 24, 2020 at the 3:00 p.m. PST/. 6:00 p.m. EST
  • LOCATION: Zoom the video
  • HOST: Sarah Michelle Gellar is an American actress best known for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the popular Scooby-Doo franchise. She is also the producer and co-founder of the Foodstirs baking brand.

“Many families don’t travel home as usual, but that doesn’t prevent them from starting new traditions, whether they’re spending their vacation in a vacation rental on the beach or cooking a dish that will remind them of sunnier days.” “says Katie Junod, General Manager at Travelocity.

Cruising speed x Sarah Michelle Gellars Thanksgiving menu on a travel theme
Gellar will be creating two unique travel-themed Thanksgiving dishes during the live Zoom cooking demo, including their Holiday Safecation Stuffing Muffins and Southern Thanksgiving Cornbread Muffins. The cornbread muffins are a nod to the south and the many Thanksgiving celebrations their family spent there, and both recipes are easy to wrap up and take with you on the go. “Who doesn’t want a hearty muffin made from the filling of the big day?” says Gellar. “The best part about it? Canned them have crisper edges.”

Throughout the live event, Sarah will share her favorite Thanksgiving travel memories and guide attendees step by step as she prepares both dishes.

“My Thanksgiving menu for Travelocity is inspired by planning a safe Thanksgiving menu with my family and making not only our family classics but also serving some dishes inspired by some of our previous Thanksgiving diners,” says Gellar. “Since we cannot celebrate while traveling this year, we will bring the vacation trip to us and plan the best vacation security with a dish we prepared for some of our previous southern visitors. My vacation security is with muffins and Southern Thanksgiving cornbread muffins perfect for all ages and everyone can participate – especially the little ones who are looking for something that is fun. “

For those who cannot attend the Live Zoom event Tuesday November 24thTravelocity shares Sarah’s recipe for Holiday Safecation Stuffing Muffins on his blog and will share a video recording of the demo the day after the event. Travelocity also shares a Thanksgiving menu from the wisest wanderer in the world, the roaming gnome.
