RALEIGH, NC (WTVD) – Raleigh police are investigating a triple shooting Saturday night at an East Raleigh hotel that resulted in three people being hospitalized.

The officers were called to the 3100 block on New Bern Avenue near the Wake Inn at about 8:40 pm for a shooting

Upon arrival, officers found both a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Officials said the two were taken to hospital with “serious injuries”. Authorities later learned that a third victim – a man – was a walk-in patient.

Raleigh police did not disclose the names of the victims or said that a suspect was in custody at the time.
