The InterContinental Hotels Group has announced its plans for the Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Watertown.
The new location is now open at 2803 8th Ave SE north of US Highway 21. This 4-story hotel has a fitness center, pool and 2 meeting rooms. The 84 hotel rooms offer modern features such as an internet system with the fastest internet connection in the region, multifunctional seating, 50-inch television and numerous sockets next to the bed.
The older Holiday Inn Express, east of the Interstate 29-Highway 212 junction, is being converted into a Best Western Inn & Suites and renovated.
Both hotels are managed by Lamont Companies Inc. from Aberdeen. Seth Sweeney is the regional manager for both hotels.
