AIDAcosma offers the Ocean Deck, which extends over four decks and offers a panoramic view

AIDA Cruises received its newest ship AIDAcosma on December 21, 2021 in Bremerhaven, Germany. The ship was built at Meyer Werft in Papenburg and, together with its sister ship AIDAnova, runs on liquefied natural gas (LNG).

“Today marks an important milestone on our way to becoming an emission-neutral cruise ship,” said Felix Eichhorn, President of AIDA Cruises. “With AIDAcosma and its sister ship AIDAnova, two of the most innovative cruise ships in the world are part of our fleet in terms of sustainable cruises as well as the very special guest experience and the variety of products.”

The new ship has the Ocean Deck, which extends over four decks and offers a panoramic view, a large infinity pool at the stern of the ship, boulder walls, rope towers and a fun park. There are also 17 restaurants and 23 bars and cafes.

AIDAcosma will be officially christened on April 9, 2022 in Hamburg as part of their two-week christening trip to Lisbon in Portugal and Mallorca, Barcelona, ​​Cadiz and Malaga in Spain. The former Olympic cyclist and 11-time world champion of the Union Cycliste Internationale, Kristina Vogel, will be the ship’s godmother. The ship will then make week-long voyages from Palma and Barcelona from April 23 to October 15, 2022.
