Allen Park Cabrini hosted Division 4, Region 31 on Saturday and completely dominated the road to the championship.

Cabrini defeated Whitmore Lake in the semifinals in a five-inning grace 12-1 and missed Royal Oak Shrine a 13-0 defeat in the final.

Next up for the Monarchs is a fight with Unionville-Sebewaing on Tuesday in the state quarter-finals.

Against Whitmore Lake, Mackenzie Noah blew two home runs and finished 2-for-4 with six RBIs and two runs.

Noah also began in the circle. She knocked out nine thugs and allowed five hits, no walks and a deserved run in five innings.

Ella Nowc was 3 for 3, with a double, and she had an RBI and three runs.

Nicole Teed had two RBIs without the help of a hit and Brianna Manning finished 2-for-4 with three runs and two stolen bases.

Samantha Graf had two hits and two runs, while Mary Schantz and Wyndhem Reid had one hit and one run each. Ashley Pelc and Elaine Teed also contributed a hit.

In the championship game, Noah threw a no-hitter against Shrine. She hit 11 batters and went one of seven innings of work. Offensively, she was 2 for 3, with a double, and she had a run and a stolen base.

Reid went 4-for-4, with a double, and had four RBIs, three runs, and one stolen base. Manning finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs, while Nowc finished 1-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs and two stolen bases, and Schantz finished 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run.

Graf had a hit and an RBI and Pelc finished with an RBI and a run.

Nicole Teed also contributed a hit and two runs and Kaelynn Schindler crossed the record once.

The Monarchs’ quarter-final match against Unionville-Sebewaing is scheduled for 3pm on Tuesday at St. Clair Community College in Port Huron. The winner of this game will play Bridgman or Ottawa Lake Whiteford in the state semi-finals on Friday, June 18 at Michigan State University.
