The reimbursement of travel expenses is limited to the permissible expenses in the sense of University policy, requires previous permit, and requires proper expense documentation. Scholarship holders should discuss their travel planning in advance with the staff member in their department, who will help with reimbursement of travel expenses. The trip must take place within the financial year in which the scholarship is awarded (ie between July and June). Prize payments will be made from funds for the current year when the conference is held and issues are submitted by June 15 of each year. Otherwise, award payments can be postponed until July for processing.

After the trip is complete, Research and Scholarship will transfer funds to your faculty to facilitate reimbursement. All refunds are processed through the student’s academic department. It is the responsibility of the students to fill out all university-required approval and reimbursement forms in their department.
