MCKEE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A brand new festival took place in Berea on Saturday.

The Arts and Crafts Fair was free to attend as donations were encouraged, which benefited Jackson County’s tourism.

The event was hosted by the owners of the Clover Bottom Bed and Breakfast, Gregory and Rita Lakes.

There was specialty vendors, local food, and live music.

There was also an opportunity for people to create their own unique piece of art and take it home with them.

“We have a lot of creative people in this immediate area and we wanted those people to get together and maybe start a group in this little northern Jackson County and Jackson County tourist area, bring all of these people together to show what we have here,” says Gregory Lakes.

This event is not alone, Berea is known for and hosts various craft and arts events every year.
