Milone was credited with Saturday safe against the Angels, posing three scoreless innings and scoring only one hit. He hit six and didn’t go a punch.

Saving isn’t that much easier – Milone went into the competition a 14-1 lead and didn’t have the stress of finishing the final three frames of one-sided victory. Still, it was an impressive outing for the veteran as he only allowed one harmless single and scored six hits. Milone is unlikely to see many secure chances in the future, but he could carve out an important bullpen role after serving as an all-starter last season.
