This 1,054 key omni hotel, showcasing the work of Elkus Manfredi Architects, Waldrop + Nichols Studio, Moody Nolan and Stull and Lee, underscores Boston’s forward-looking approach.

The hotel embodies the Boston of the 21st century not only through its philosophy and its design.

A groundbreaking development

The new Building Omni Boston Hotel at the seaport now welcomes its guests in its 1,054 guest rooms and suites. This pre-eminent achievement in the burgeoning Seaport / South Boston Waterfront District celebrates the city’s visual and performing arts history along with its technological innovations, academic tradition and bright future.

The program is a joint venture between Omni Hotels & Resorts and New Boston Hospitality, consisting of The Davis Company, Washington Capital Management on behalf of one or more investment clients, Spot On Ventures, Taylor Smith Group, Boston Urban Development and local minority investors.

“An extraordinary team of talented, creative and dedicated people made this moment a reality,” said Mike Jörgensen, Managing Director of the Omni Boston Hotel at Seaport. “We love to open our doors to local Boston residents and guests from all over the world who make the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport their new home for every occasion.”

This is the first project developed under the “Massport Model”, which sets a new standard for diversity and inclusion in development projects.

“Today’s opening of the Omni Boston Hotel at Seaport is further evidence of Omni Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to Boston and its ongoing development strategy,” said Peter Strebel, President of Omni Hotels & Resorts. “Boston is such an emblematic city in our nation’s history, and we look forward to expanding our presence by bringing a whole new hospitality experience to one of the city’s growing neighborhoods. The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a true reflection of modern Boston. “

Jonathan Davis, CEO of The Davis Companies who is the developer and managing partner of the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, also welcomed the opening.

He said: “This was a major development project for the city that was groundbreaking in both its design and inclusion model – with many different partners working at all levels to bring this incredible property to life. When the hotel opens its doors, we look forward to it becoming a hub of not just the Seaport neighborhood, but of the entire city of Boston, and a destination that brings together both the local and global communities. “

A reflection of his place

The distinctive design of the Omni Boston Hotel At The Seaport was inspired by Elkus Manfredi Architects, Waldrop + Nichols Studio, Moody Nolan and Stull and Lee. Guests can expect a gallery-like setting with a lobby with a stage for live performances and a carefully curated collection of artwork that includes paintings, sculptures, murals, and other media that highlight Boston’s talent.

The hotel’s 1,054 rooms, 52 of which are suites, are spread over two 22-story towers with a view of the harbor and the surrounding area. The Patron Tower features rooms inspired by the city’s performing arts heritage, while the Artist Tower features accommodations that resemble an artist’s loft.

The 2,000 m² presidential suite on the 22nd floor of the Patron Tower features a 180-degree view along with exceptional amenities, including two fireplaces, a dining room for eight people and a private screening room.

Guests can dine in seven different locations, five of which are led by award-winning chef Steve Peterson, from the Mediterranean-American restaurant Kestra to the open-air lifted pool bar on the fifth floor. In the meantime, a collaboration with the COJE Management Group has led to the establishment of the modern French brasserie Coquette and the daytime café and wine bar Cocorico.

The wellness experience here is centered around the Breve Spa, which offers a range of treatments in a room that also has a 24-hour fitness center. This wellness area is complemented by the outdoor pool on the roof terrace.

Events are held on an impressive 100,000 m² indoor and outdoor area, not least in the largest hotel ballroom in Boston and the 3,000 m² Elevate Balcony outdoors.
