FULTON – Golfers participating in the 26th Annual United Way Golf Tournament have the opportunity to drive away in a brand new vehicle thanks to huge sponsorship from Burritt Motors.

Kate Davis Pitsley, United Way Director of Resource Development, said, “We are so grateful that Burritt Motos has generously offered to partner with United Way again this year to offer this amazing hole-in-one award. Come to us for a great round of golf and you might be the one who drives off with a new vehicle. “

Along with Burritt Motors, Pitsley said National Grid, Novelis, IBEW-43 and the Nine Mile Point and FitzPatrick nuclear power plants of Exelon Generation are returning as major sponsors of the event. “This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and we couldn’t do it without the help of these community partners,” said Pitsley.

Burritt Motors partnered with United Way on the recent Day of Caring to improve curb appearance for 10 local households, and the dealer provides year-round support to United Way.

“We have an incredibly generous community with many who have big hearts to care for it,” said Rich Burritt, President of Burritt Motors. “We are excited to work with the other sponsors to help, as we pride ourselves on knowing that our United Way contributions are continually serving others in need.”

The foursomes begin on Monday, July 12th, at 8:00 a.m. at the Oswego Country Club with timed tees. The Oswego Country Club golf course has 18 holes and is considered one of the best courses in CNY.

Team registrations are currently being accepted and given on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration closes on June 25th.
