CHENNAI: With Christmas It’s not just families who are planning a meeting around the corner. The hospitality industry is also preparing to spread the festive mood while observing security protocols.
Lots of hotels and Restaurants in Chennai, special baskets and menus come up for Christmas. Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road presents a menu of global cuisine with live stations and roast turkey in its Food Exchange restaurant. “It will be available for dinner on December 24th and lunch on December 25th,” said General Manager Supreet Roy.
ITC Grand Chola is holding a Christmas market in the Madras Pavilion from December 24th to 26th. “We’ll have live music, a kids’ corner and a multi-cuisine buffet,” says Abhimanyu Arora, F&B manager, ITC Grand Chola, adding that gift baskets with Christmas specialties such as Christmas cake and gingerbread house will also be available.
The Radisson Resort Temple Bay offers an evening buffet at Water’s Edge with Santa Claus and a specially curated menu at Wharf 2.0 with traditional Christmas delicacies from Europe on Christmas Eve. “We will also be hosting a special breakfast and brunch,” says Vikram Cotah, CEO of GRT Hotels & Resorts. “In the Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels we have festive baskets from December 10th to 31st and a global buffet with a live band and table magicians on December 24th and 25th.”
