Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Naveen Patnaik practically laid the foundation stone for two hotels in Bhubaneswar on Monday Puri and Bhubaneswar.
While Swosti group will build a five-star, premium, luxury beachfront resort in Puri, and Prachi Resorts Pvt Ltd will build a four-star hotel in Khandagiri. the Swosti Premium The 13-story Beach Resort will be the tallest hotel in the state, with 125 luxurious rooms with ocean views to cater to the needs of high-end domestic and international tourists. The hotel will be built on two hectares on the new Marine Drive Road in Sipasarubali Mouza.
“The great 5-star Swosti Premium Beach Resorts at Puri by Swosti Premium with an investment of Rs 134 billion will create potential employment opportunities for over 310 people. The 4-star hotel Prachi Resorts Private Limited in Bhubaneswar, with an investment of 63.30 billion rupees, will create employment opportunities for over 85 people, ”said a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Swosti Group CMD JK Mohanty said its beach resort is expected to open in 2024. “We have received all the necessary permits and government permits to build the 13-story hotel. It promotes meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) as well as wedding tourism. It will also have mega conference and wedding facilities with large outdoor lawns at different heights of the building, ”Mohanty said.
Mohanty said the Swosti group has also planned a special play zone for children and adults in the food court with sea views and a wellness spa and fitness facilities, as well as a swimming pool.
