The Four Seasons Philadelphia’s “passionate, genuine” service, world-class amenities, and panoramic city views have made it one of the best hotels in the world, according to Condé Nast Traveler.

The magazine ranked the Four Seasons Philadelphia 22nd on its list of the 50 Best Hotels in the World published this week. The list was made public as part of the Readers’ Choice Awards 2021 of publication.

The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia was also named No. 1 for the Mid-Atlantic region and No. 6 in the United States by Condé Nast.

The editors of the publication wrote that guests “Can expect a smooth service” when you stay at the luxurious Center City Hotel. The magazine also praised the extensive views of the property’s skyline and many of those who contributed to the hotel’s amenities, including award-winning chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Greg Vernick behind the elegant Jean-Georges restaurant and bar.

The magazine’s editors concluded that the Four Seasons could be part of “the beginning of a transformation in the Philadelphian hotel scene”.

The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia opened in August 2019 on the top dozen floors of the 60-story Comcast Technology Center in Center City, now the tallest building in Philadelphia. The 219-room hotel has a 30,000-gallon infinity pool and the highest spa in North America with seven treatment rooms and walls filled with nearly 700 pounds of healing crystals.

The property was named one of the 14 best hotels in Philadelphia last year from Condé Nast Traveler. The Four Seasons was too Rated by Forbes as one of the 100 best luxury hotels in the world in 2020, which became the first Philadelphia hotel to receive the publication’s prestigious five-star award.

The La Mamounia in Marrakech, Morocco, was named the best hotel in the world by Condé Nast Traveler this year. The Gwen in Chicago was named the best hotel in the USA and came in 8th overall.

Other Philadelphia hotels named in the publication Ranking of the best in the Central Atlantic region were the Kimpton Hotel Monaco (No. 3), The Rittenhouse (No. 4), The Study at University City (No. 6) and AKA University City (No. 9).

Over 800,000 voters voted on their favorite hotels when the publication’s 34th annual poll was conducted in April and May. Hotels were rated based on rooms, service, food, design, location, value, activities and facilities.
