Corinthia Hotels will manage the Surrey New York hotel that marks the first US flag of the luxury hospitality group.

Located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Surrey is currently undergoing major renovations and is slated to reopen as Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel, in 2023.

The redesigned property will accommodate 97 guest rooms and 12 residences.

As part of the overhaul, Corinthia Hotels has won the team behind the Miami Beach-based restaurant, hotel and private club concept Casa Tua as a pioneer for the Surrey food and beverage program. The property is reopening with several new dining concepts, including the Casa Tua Cucina Italian restaurant and a private club outpost for Casa Tua members only.

The Surrey was previously managed by Denihan Hospitality.

The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel, will be added to Corinthia Hotels’ existing portfolio of nine hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
