Norwegian cancels more cruises, delays restart for five ships

Just one day after the cancellation of cruises on Norwegian Pearl and Getaway, Norwegian Cruise Line canceled further trips and delayed restart for other ships.

Norwegian Pearl’s next cruise, a three-day Bahamas route, has now been canceled.

Norwegian Jade’s Middle East and Europe cruises were also canceled until the end of March. The ship is scheduled to make the next cruise on March 30th.

Norwegian Cruise Line has also postponed the planned restart for five of its ships – Norwegian Sky, Star, Sun and Spirit, as well as the Hawaii-based ship Pride of America.

Regent Seven Seas changes world cruise itinerary

On Tuesday evening, the guests who wanted to embark on a 120-day world cruise aboard Regent’s Seven Seas Mariner learned that the itinerary had been massively changed.

Instead of heading for more exotic ports, the cruise from Miami has now been divided into four segments, which will mainly call at ports in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Those who continue with the new itinerary will receive a 30 percent refund. Passengers can also choose to take a partial trip and receive a partial refund, or cancel the booking in full and receive a full refund.
