The new look shows “a light, neutral palette” and “simplified shapes” in the brand’s first property in Northern California

Marriott International announced the opening of Delta Hotels by Marriott Santa Clara Silicon Valley, the first hotel to feature the new Delta Hotels branded room design.

The 263-room redesigned hotel is Delta Hotels’ first in Northern California. Design elements include “a light, neutral palette with rich but unobtrusive color accents” with a headboard wall that highlights large-format works of art and “reinforces the brand’s design concept of simplified shapes”.

The renovated property, which was formerly the Biltmore Hotel Santa Clara, has a full-service restaurant and bar, an American breakfast restaurant, the Zin Café, and a coffee shop. Features include a heated swimming pool, fitness center, and 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The property is close to the Santa Clara Convention Center and Levi Stadium and approximately 3 miles from Mineta San Jose International Airport.

Marriott acquired the Canadian brand Delta Hotels in 2015 and has since expanded the brand into a portfolio of around 100 four-star hotels worldwide, including almost 50 hotels in the USA alone.

About the new opening and the refreshed room design, he said:

“We are excited to welcome this new hotel to the Delta Hotels family,” said Jennifer Connell, vice president and global brand leader, Delta Hotels by Marriott. “Silicon Valley is the perfect destination to showcase our new approach to the guest room and deliver a meaningful design along with first-class details for quality, radiant optimism and a sense of home.”
