The opening of the tourist season on May 14th was announced by Deputy Tourism Minister Sofia Zacharaki.
As she said further MEGA TVThere is a pilot restart with Israel until the official opening of the tourist season.
“Israelis who have received both vaccine doses and a negative PCR test in the past 3 days can come to Greece,” she said.

She also announced that the updated tourism logs will be released in the next few days.
“Tourism must definitely be restarted,” she said.
What applies to the entry of tourists to Greece?
According to Zacharaki, tourists need a vaccination certificate, negative PCR test or antibody certificate to enter Greece.
“All of this is certified with an EU certificate,” she said, adding that sample tests would be carried out on the country’s gates.
She also announced that tourism workers could be vaccinated as a priority.
Zacharaki estimated that the upcoming tourist season will have several last minute bookings and said the season could be extended.
“We’ll do better than last year,” she added.
