“Master and Servant”

Sakamoto began living at Sato’s residence last December in a relationship described by the Fuji News Network (May 20) as a “master and servant.” Instead of paying the rent, Sakamoto did the heavy lifting in the capers.

The victims were targeted via a matchmaking app. Sato directed Sakamoto to meet her at hotels in Ikebukuro.

In the above case, Sakamoto stole the money while the victim was in the shower, a crime that lasted only 10 minutes.

After each crime, Sakamoto sent photos of the stolen items to Sato through the App Line. The stolen money was used to buy branded goods and to cover living expenses.

Over a period of two months, they are said to have cheated on about 20 men of around 1 million yen.
