Victoria has released tens of thousands of additional regional tourism vouchers to encourage people to vacation at home and stimulate the economy.

Registration for the latest batch of 40,000 vouchers that will allow Victorian travelers to amortize $ 200 in vacation expenses opened on Wednesday.

The first launch of the program in December crashed the website.

According to the government, 70,000 vouchers have already been given out, with the most popular destinations being the Mornington Peninsula, Surf Coast, Bass Coast, East Gippsland and High County.

The final round of vouchers can be redeemed between January 27th and April 1st.

Travelers must spend at least $ 400 on accommodation, experiences, or tours during this period.

You can only redeem the voucher afterwards.

Another 40,000 coupons are expected to be released on March 30, the government said.
