Canal + Rwanda’s business-to-business (B2B) department has launched a Christmas package for large hotels, restaurants, airports, hospitals and other service providers.

The promotion runs from November 15th to December 31st.

The companies are entitled to promotions for one of the three subscriptions (Basic with 8 selected channels for Rwf 7,000 per room, Essential with 16 selected channels for Rwf 10,500 per room and Prestige with 24 channels for Rwf 13,500 per room).

The good news is that all of the equipment, installation process, and after-sales service are completely free.

“Most of the time, the equipment to install the shared server in a large system like hotels and restaurants is expensive and can only be bought in Dubai and China. But thanks to our promotion, they will all be free, ”said Aime Abizera, Canal + Sales Director.

Abizera added that hotels mostly host tourists and business people attending meetings that really need access to content.

“The people in hotels are mostly tourists who want to see what is going on in their home countries and are often lonely, so they need TVs in the rooms to entertain them during their stay,” he emphasized.

Hotel visitors are helped as Canal + offers over 200 channels in a variety of languages including news, sports, series and music content.

Over 50 hotels in Rwanda are already subscribed to the Canal + system.

Julia Abayisenga, Key Account Assistant intern in the B2B department, emphasized that the action comes at the right time when the Rwandan tourism trend recovers from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She added that subscription prices aren’t high at all: “We’ve also done our best to set up affordable rates because when a room is over $ 300 a night and the monthly subscription is less than $ 15 that’s a fair price. ” she commented.

Canal + technicians, located in different corners of the country, are on hand to help any customer who experiences a technical failure free of charge.

Canal + Rwanda is a subsidiary of the Canal + International Group, a leading provider of premium channels and the distribution of pay-TV offers.

The group is growing rapidly with a strong presence in the European, African and Asian markets.
