The city of Detroit was devastated by the Labor Day fires that destroyed much of the Santiam Canyon area. Now the city is focused on relaxing, rebuilding, and hoping for more visitors as tourism drives the region’s economy. We hear from Detroit Mayor Jim Trett how their Independence Day weekend went and what he expects for the rest of the summer.
