TOKYO (AP) It was definitely a different Olympiad than I’m used to and it wasn’t all bad for me.

There’s not much we can do with the COVID protocols and restrictions other than training and the arena for games so I spend a lot of time in my room relaxing.

Although I enjoy the solitude, it is unfortunate not to be able to do much because I was really looking forward to coming to Tokyo. I love plants and I love how green the city is and how clean it is.

I was really hoping that I could visit the Botanical Gardens, unfortunately I don’t think that will happen.

Even though we’re stuck in the hotel, we have a little way to get some fresh air on the seventh floor.

Hopefully it will be a little more relaxed so we can go outside before the graduation ceremonies.

We get to watch the men’s team play and when that was first offered I took the chance to get out and support them.

It’s also really cool that they came to watch us play too.

That’s one of the great things about the bond we have with them that really comes through during the Olympics. We always cheer, this is nothing new. But it seems like they are more supportive of each other at these Olympics because we’re really easy on each other as none of our families could come.

I’m not sure if they can come to our next game. On Monday we will play another game of billiards and then it will go to the quarter-finals.

Minnesota Lynx star Sylvia Fowles checks in regularly from the Olympics. The four-time Olympian is trying to help the US win a seventh consecutive gold medal.
