Jay brings years of experience serving as senior vice president of investments and development for Auro Hotels in Greenville, SC, where he was involved in hotel and property acquisitions, feasibility, due diligence, asset management and divestitures. Prior to joining Auro, a successor to JHM Hotels, Jay was our Vice President, Corporate Strategy here at GF Hotels & Resorts. Prior to that, he was with AMC Delancey Group in a hotel asset management role.

Jay began his remarkable career behind the front desk at the Hampton Inn in Charlottesville, VA. Jay then held several corporate positions at Marriott International within six years, including information technology, revenue management, competitive analysis, and sales and marketing analysis. Jay’s experience and expertise make him an undeniable asset for the GF Hotels & Resorts family.

Jay attended the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce before earning his Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell Hotel School. He lives in Greenville with his wife and two daughters, serving in his spare time in his church and playing golf whenever possible.
