FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 5, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Broward County Tourism organization has a new name. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau today announced its new brand as
Visit Lauderdale with the destination slogan “Everyone Under the Sun” that reflects the diversity and welcoming nature of the country Greater Fort Lauderdale Region. The announcement comes during National Travel and Tourism Week, when target marketing organizations share messages about the power of travel and its positive effects on local communities.

To illustrate the new brand beautifully, Visit Lauderdale commissioned the internationally renowned airbrush artist Avi Ram, a Greater Fort Lauderdale Residents to paint a new Everyone Under the Sun mural. The mural is exhibited at the entrance of the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel. On special occasions, Ram is known for camouflaging human figures with body paint, who then appear to bring the art to life. A Visit Lauderdale launch activation included painted models representing the diverse community of the area. The mural, standing alone without the camouflaged figures, shows the beauty of Greater Fort Lauderdale and the face of mother nature welcomes everyone to experience the natural beauty of the region.

The brand launch also included the debut of the official Visit Lauderdale Everyone Under the Sun beer from Fort Lauderdale Gulf Stream Brewing Company. Flags with the new Visit Lauderdale logo fly high from hotels, water taxis, air boats in the Everglades and many others Broward County Locations.
