Grecian Delight supports Greece

“Our President has always been a source of inspiration for all of us in the work he has begun and faithfully carried out over the years. His love for Greece and his vision give us the strength to continue his work. “

The businessman, who was born in Georgia to the son of Pontic Greek descent, also reportedly had the coronavirus.

Mouzenidis is known not only for his incredible business spirit and innovative vision, but also for everything he has contributed to Greek tourism during his life.

“He was an industry pioneer who worked hard for Greek tourism. With method, determination and hard work, he realized his vision and built bridges between Greece and Russia, ”said Greek Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis about the tourism giant Saturday.

Mouzenidis Travel cultivated the Greco-Russian tourism industry

The Greek tourism pioneer was instrumental in cultivating the now massive Greek-Russian Tourism industry when he founded his company Mouzenidis Travel in Thessaloniki in 1995.

The businessman had just moved from Georgia to the northern Greek city for three years before setting up his company there, which started in a modest office near the city’s train station and offered tours of Thessaloniki.

After Mouzenidis Travel’s success in focusing on the Russian-speaking market, he moved to a larger office in the city.

As the company grew, the tourism tycoon formed the Mouzenidis Group, which expanded its business interests to common areas including real estate, medical tourism, hotels, and yacht rentals.

In 2013, the Mouzenidis Group founded the airline Ellinair, which connects Greece and the Balkans with Russia.
