AMSTERDAM – After the Amsterdam girls’ basketball team recorded a 70:22 win over Fonda-Fultonville in their last meeting, they scored a 63:38 win over Lady Braves on Tuesday.

Amsterdam led 19-6 after a quarter and 38-22 at the half on the way to victory.

Antonia May led Amsterdam with 22 points while Andie Gannon had 15 points. Jackie Stanavich added 13 points for the Lady Rams, who improved to 4-0 over the course of the season.

Lyndsay Lombardoni scored 12 points, leading Fonda-Fultonville (3-2 aggregate) while Kyla Smith added nine points.

GALWAY – Eliza Barton scored 15 points to lead Schuylerville to a win over Galway in a Saratoga County League competition.

The Black Horses defeated the Golden Eagles 24:20 in the second half to claim the win.

Ryan Ripepi scored 14 points and led Galway (1-4 overall) to head to South Glens Falls on Friday for a 5pm competition.

Levi Thomas scored 19 points, including five 3-point points, for Fort Plain (2-2 overall).

The Fordians beat the Golden Eagles 44-28 for the last three quarters to claim the win.

Jake Houle had 19 points for the Waterford Halfmoon.

Henry Flint scored 18 points to lead Galway (2-3 total) while Braden Boudreau and Brendan Shader each had seven points.
