BRADENTON – Cortez Heating & Air recently announced that it has won work to provide maintenance services to two high-end Orlando hotels: the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

No financial terms were disclosed for the agreement, which runs until March 2024.

According to a statement, the two hotels under air conditioning have a considerable area. The Waldorf Astoria Orlando has more than 500 guest rooms and the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort has more than 150,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotels share 12 restaurants and lounges between the two hotels.

Under the agreement, Bradenton-based Cortez will perform preventative maintenance on both hotels’ HVAC equipment, including chillers, drives and pumps. Cortez will also respond to all HVAC emergency calls.

“The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and the Waldorf Astoria Orlando are premier resort hotels serving customers from around the world,” said Steven Dobbins, vice president of sales, in the press release. “Their standards for guest comfort are high and it is an honor that they have chosen Cortez.”
