Hilton Worldwide’s expansion in Germany shows no signs of slowing as the hospitality giant has signed a deal to remodel an existing hotel between Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

A contemporary property in southwest Germany is being rebranded.

A growing portfolio in Germany

Hilton worldwide has signed a franchise agreement for the opening Hilton Heidelberg at Kurfürsten-Anlage 1, in which currently a Crowne Plaza Hotel, in the city center. The property is owned by a real estate investment manager Invesco real estate.

Our investment program for the Hilton Heidelberg aims for a Breeam in Refurbishment Certificate and thus complements its ESG [environmental, social and governance] strategic priority focus across the entire hotel portfolio. “

Hilton goes to Heidelberg

After renovation, the Hilton Heidelberg will allow travelers to discover a city famous for its history, Gothic architecture, and thriving scientific community. The property is just a short walk from the baroque old town and Heidelberg Castle, while Heidelberg University from the 14th century, the oldest in Germany, is just 3 km away.

The redesigned project will house 244 guest rooms and suites as well as a restaurant, bar, executive lounge and fitness room. There will also be more than 550 square meters of meeting space in seven conference rooms.

The Hilton Heidelberg is scheduled to open in summer 2022.
