Indianapolis, IN
In particular, the Indy 500 will take place on May 30th. The event is attended by 33 drivers who complete 200 laps, which is the equivalent of 500 miles. The Indy 500 is known for its traditions including an ice cold bottle of milk for the winner after the race. RV camping is popular at this event as it’s a convenient way to stay close to the excitement. The event features numerous campsites with 30 and 50 amp hookups, portable toilets, pumping out RV waste, non-potable water for RVs, and more. Fans love to cheer and cheer their favorite drivers together.
Fall Creek Falls State Park, TN
There is plenty to see and do for all ages on more than 29,800 acres on the eastern tip of the Cumberland Plateau. Marvel at waterfalls, waterfalls, canyons, streams, and forests. Waterfall hunters will marvel at Fall Creek Falls. At 256 feet, it is one of the tallest waterfalls in the eastern United States. Other waterfalls include Cane Creek Cascades, Piney Falls, and Cane Creek Falls. Fall Creek Falls has many campsites with 222 campsites in five different areas. All locations have electricity, water, tables, grills and access to six nearby bathhouses. 92 locations have sewer connections. There are locations that can accommodate motorhomes up to 30 meters in length. Ice and firewood can be bought. There are also 16 primitive tented campsites with no access to water or electricity.
