Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today confirmed plans to open a new hotel under its flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts Brand on Mallorca’s unspoilt Costa de la Calma. The news follows the signing of a management contract with Galatzo Inversiones, SL
The 208-room Hilton Mallorca Galatzo, due to open in the summer of 2022, is the latest hotel to join Hilton’s growing pipeline in Spain, which has opened three hotels this year alone and includes 23 hotels under nine brands operating in 16 destinations traded or in development across the country.

In over 54,000 square meters of perfectly presented gardens, the hotel has three swimming pools and two pool bars, ensuring that guests are never far from a cool drink and a dip in the pool to complement the warm climate of the Balearic Islands. The hotel lobby will also include a bar that leads to a spacious outdoor terrace, and guests can enjoy a variety of dining options at the resort, including the hotel’s two different dining experiences.
For events, be it parties, conferences, weddings or meetings, the hotel offers 1,000 square meters of conference and event rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 390 guests.
With relaxation and rejuvenation in mind, the Hilton Mallorca Galatzo will offer a 1,500 square meter spa and wellness center with six treatment rooms and a variety of packages for all guests. With a sauna, whirlpool, experience showers and much more, those seeking relaxation have many options. In addition to these wellness facilities, the hotel offers a fitness center and several tennis courts.

The new hotel will join 16 hotels trading under the Hilton brands in Spain, including Canopy by Hilton Madrid Castellana and Hampton by Hilton Barcelona Fira Gran Via, both of which opened last month.
