Space tourism is one thing that the world eagerly awaits. If the new flights are approved by Virgin Galactic (a well-known space tourism company), traveling to space wouldn’t just be a dream. On Monday, the company announced it had tested the SpaceShipTwo vehicle this month after a test was canceled in early December.

The Richard Branson-led company said, “The flight window will open on February 13th, with the ability to fly throughout February, provided the weather conditions are good and technical readiness is present.” He informed the space tourism enthusiasts that the preparations for the flight at Spaceport America in New Mexico are already underway.

The company added that their space flight would test the remedial action first, and then call the future astronauts to join in. Apparently, SpaceShipTwo, as they call it, was scheduled to launch its first passengers into space later that year.

So far, 600 people have already paid nearly $ 250,000 for the upcoming trip, and the space company is calling them “future astronauts” who have waited years for it to take off. In 2014, the flight’s development was delayed due to a devastating crash of the first spacecraft due to the pilot’s mistake.

As soon as the spaceship is fully functional, it will be picked up by another special aircraft in the sky and released at high altitude. After a few seconds the spaceship leaves the engine, ignites it and drives up into the room. It definitely seems like we are looking at the future of the travel world.
