Disaster Recovery Center

Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) have been closed since November 20, 2021. You can still request assistance by calling 1-800-621-3362 or online Disaster Relief.gov until January 10, 2021.

DRCs were established in affected communities. These centers were named by individual counties and offered citizens a place where they could get important program information and also register for disaster relief.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has been one-stop-shop for citizens to get information on all available federal resources to recover from this devastating situation, as well as access to the services of government agencies. Representatives were available to answer questions on topics such as psychological counseling, driver license replacement, emergency food resources, damage to farms and much more.
