Governor Jay Inslee today canceled its November 2020 travel advisory advising Washingtonians and others visiting Washington to comply with the The Center for Disease Control’s current COVID-19 travel advice.

On November 13, 2020, due to the increasing incidence of COVID-19 in many states and countries, Inslee issued a travel advisory for people coming to Washington from another state and for Washingtoners returning from other states or countries. This document recommended that: (1) Individuals returning to Washington from other states or countries should self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. and (2) it encouraged Washingtoners to avoid non-essential travel outside of the state.

The current CDC guidelines are more robust, thorough and specific than the November 2020 travel advice, and are updated regularly to reflect the latest scientific evidence, best safety practices and protocols, and the current COVID-19 situation both domestically and internationally.
