SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz blew out the Oklahoma Thunder 137-101 for their second straight win in Salt Lake City.

Bojan Bogdanovic led all scorers with 27 points as six Jazz players scored in double-figures, including 68 points from the team’s second-unit.

With the win the Jazz moved a full game ahead of the Denver Nuggets for the fifth seed in the West.

first quarter

The Jazz got off to a hot start in the first quarter due to their willingness to get into the paint and get to the free-throw line.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 12 points largely due to his 8-9 free-throw shooting in the quarter as three Thunder players committed two fouls in the opening frame.

Jeremiah Robins0n-Earl kept the Thunder close by scoring 11 points on 3-3 shooting.

After one, the Jazz led the Thunder 41-31.

Second Quarter

The Jazz built their lead to 15 early in the second quarter, but the Thunder answered with a 20-7 run to trim their deficit to just two with five minutes left in the half.

However, the Jazz responded with strong defense outscoring the Thunder 14-3 over heading into the break.

Rudy Gobert, Jordan Clarkson, and Bogdanovic combined to shoot 15-20 from the floor for 42 points.

At the half, the Jazz led the Thunder 71-58.

Third quarters

Hassan Whiteside gave the Jazz a big boost with Gobert off the floor recording 12 points and 10 rebounds midway through the third quarter.

The reserve center also had three blocks in just 13 minutes on the floor.

Through three quarters the Jazz second-unit had outscored the Thunder’s 44-31.

The Jazz led the Thunder 106-85 heading into the final quarter.

FourthQuarter

The lead climbed to 33 midway through the fourth quarter as the Thunder’s youth struggled to keep up with the more experienced Jazz roster.

Bogdanovic finished the game with 27 points to lead all scorers while six jazz players finished in double-figures.

Jaylen Hoard led the Thunder with 20 points.

The Jazz beat the 137-101 for their second straight win.
