A temporary flight restriction for a VIP goes into effect Wednesday over Rehoboth Beach, suggesting President Joe Biden will visit his home in Rehoboth Beach for the first time as President.

The flight restriction comes into effect on Wednesday at 5.45 p.m. and ends on Friday at 11.30 a.m. CNN reported that Biden will be leaving Washington for Rehoboth Beach on Wednesday after meeting with West Virginia Senator Shelley Capito to discuss an infrastructure package. citing two helpers.

The White House didn’t release details of Biden’s schedule for the rest of the week. First Lady Jill Biden turns 70 on Thursday.

Biden visited his Greenville home regularly on weekends during the first four months of his presidency, but this will be his first trip to Rehoboth Beach since he moved into the White House.

Biden visited and attended Delaware twice last week a wake for a former employee in Wilmington on Tuesday and a memorial day service in the New Palace on Sunday.

The Bidens vacation home is located in the North Shores community north of Rehoboth Beach overlooking Cape Henlopen State Park. you bought the house for $ 2.7 million in 2017.

“Throughout our careers, Jill and I have dreamed of buying a spot on the beach at home that we could bring the whole family to,” Biden said in a statement at the time. “We are very happy that we are now able to do this and look forward to spending time with our family in the place that is most important to us.”

Gordons Pond parking lot, gazebo, beach area, and surf-fishing vehicle crossing at the southern end of Cape Henlopen State Park will be closed Wednesday and Friday for “a security event coordinated by local, state, and federal agencies,” according to the Delaware Department of Natural resources and environmental control announced Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday there will also be intermittent periods when the southernmost part of the Gordons Pond Trail will be closed, the agency said.
