New features have been added to the Kansas Department of Transportation’s travel information website, KanDrive, to provide drivers with additional resources for planning travel routes and getting information about current Kansas road conditions.

After logging into a KanDrive account, drivers can now:

• Select the preferred live traffic camera views to always be shown.

• View travel time and directions for custom routes.

• Schedule travel time warnings for saved routes.

• Search for information by motorway route, predefined area or draw a custom search area.

Travelers rely on KanDrive all year round, but in recent weeks it has proven to be an important tool for drivers due to snow and ice events. Almost 216,000 people used the KanDrive website approximately 460,000 times between January 10 and February 17.

KanDrive (www.KanDrive.org) is a one-stop gateway for highway and travel information available on computers and smartphones.
