Lowry could be a similar influence, and it seems Embiid is ready to take charge, but a real point guard (who is ready to shoot from the outside) would help. Getting to the playoffs will be important and Lowry is a proven champion.
In terms of an actual deal, the Sixers have multiple expiry times, most notably Danny Green’s $ 15.4 million. They have several young pieces led by Matisse Thybulle, Tyrese Maxey, and Shake Milton, all of which are making less than $ 3 million this season, and they have most of their picks for the first round in the future that are in the Harden- Deal discussed before he went to Brooklyn.
