After Marcus Carr withdrew his name from the NBA draft and decided to move from Minnesota, he narrowed his top programs to four teams. According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, Carr is considering Kansas, Texas, Louisville, and Kentucky.

Last season, Carr was a ray of hope for the Golden Gophers as the team struggled to find consistent success. He started all 29 games and scored 19.4 points per competition when Minnesota ended with a 14-15 record.

Carr first entered the transfer portal in March after coach Richard Pitino was fired from Minnesota. He spent the last two seasons with the Golden Gophers. He has not yet announced a time of his change.

Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson withdraws from the NBA draft

After a stellar freshman season at Michigan Basketball, Hunter Dickinson decided to test the water and enter the NBA draft process. But the Wolverines star made the decision to return to college basketball on Tuesday.

“I’ve done a lot of flip-flops, it’s been a really tough decision. When you talk about the rest of your life it’s a really tough choice,” said Dickinson in an interview with Stadium Jeff Goodman. to reflect on that decision, I felt like going back to do another year was the safest way for me.

“I really enjoyed the last year. That was a factor. Even though we didn’t have a normal year because of COVID and all, I really enjoyed the basketball part of things and hopefully a more normal year next year. I just have the feeling that giving it another year was the best option for me. “

As a newcomer to the 2020/21 season, Dickinson was one of the top performers at the Big Ten Conference. The 7-foot center averaged 14.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting just under 60% off the floor. He recorded six doubles doubles and hit a career high of 28 points in a win over Minnesota in January.

His awards helped earn him the Big Ten Freshman of the Year awards while also being named second-team All-American pick. Dickinson is returning to a Michigan program entering its third season under coach Juwan Howard.

The Wolverines won the Big Ten regular season title last year and took a # 1 spot in the NCAA tournament. The team traveled to the Elite Eight before losing to UCLA.
