MIAMI, Florida – A world cruise not scheduled to sail before 2024 sold out in less than three hours, though prices start at $ 73,499 per person.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises opened sales for its 2024 world cruise around 8:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday and booked all vacancies by 11 a.m., the company said in one statement.

The five-month luxury cruise aboard the Seven Seas Mariner is scheduled to leave Miami on January 26, 2024 and cover 34,500 nautical miles and 31 countries, including destinations in Central America, the US West Coast, Hawaii, the South Pacific Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, the Mediterranean Sea and Bermuda, USA today reported.

According to the company, Prices for the global tour with 442 shore excursions were up to $ 199,999 per guest for a master suite. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is a subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.

Jason Montague, President and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said the company had seen a “sharp increase” in first-time travelers.

“With a longer waiting list than ever before, we knew the 2024 world cruise would be popular, but this tremendous response has exceeded all expectations,” Montague said specified.

“For our guests, World Cruise 2024 is so much more than just a cruise vacation – it’s a return to normal,” added Montague.
