The Maharashtra government has announced that the state will organize 20 cultural festivals to promote tourism. The regional offices of the Directorate of Tourism, together with the local district administration, will organize these festivals in different parts of Maharashtra, taking COVID-19 protocols into account. Six departments have reportedly been selected for the festivals that will take place in February and March. These include Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Konkan, Amravati, and Nagpur. The reason for choosing these goals is to take note of them. He was further quoted as saying, “The coronavirus crisis has been very difficult. Now that the situation is slowly returning to normal, Maharashtra is preparing to welcome tourists. The festival is an opportunity to roam the state and we appeal to tourists to join the festival to understand Maharashtra. The state has a great cultural heritage. Tourists get a chance to see the heritage and beauty of the state through these festivals. “

The Nashik District celebrates the Grape Harvesting Festival. The Nandur Madhameshwar Festival and the Kajve Festival are held during your stay in Bhandardara, Ahmednagar District. The Laling Fort Festival is celebrated in the Dhule district.

You can visit Konkan’s Sindhdurg district to enjoy the Vengurla Festival. If you want to witness the Shrivardhan Festival, Raigad district should be your destination. The Katalshilpa Festival takes place in the Ratnagiri district.

A total of 13 cultural festivals are organized in Osmanabad District, Beed District and Nanded District of Aurangabad Division. Several other festivals will bring joy to the Amravati Division and Nagpur Division.
