ISLAMABAD: Nestlé Pakistan, in collaboration with the tourism department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has launched the TREK communication campaign in Nathiagali to promote responsible tourism in the area.

At the beginning of December 2020, Prime Minister Imran Khan presented the logo for TREK, which is part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development (KITE) project and is one of the federal government’s most important achievements in 2020.

Addressing attendees, Samer Chedid, CEO of Nestlé Pakistan said: “Our vision at Nestlé is that none of our packaging, including plastics, ends up in landfills or rivers. To achieve this, we are committed to making 100% of our packaging reusable or recyclable by 2025. “

“We are excited about this responsible tourism partnership: We will create a waste-free future by promoting new behaviors that contribute to a cleaner environment.”
