Customers can visit Ready for the air when they start planning their trips. This includes an interactive map highlighting travel guidelines for travel destinations around the world. With one click, travelers can view the vaccination or testing requirements of their potential travel destination and then seamlessly book trips. You can also see nearby locations offering tests or choose one of American’s hands-on testing partners for your home to make your trip planning easier.

Checklist for readiness to fly

Once tickets are booked, customers traveling internationally will automatically see American’s “Ready to Fly” checklist when they make their eligible reservations. Show aa.com and the American Airlines mobile app. Ready to Fly describes everything customers will need for their specific itinerary, including testing and vaccination requirements, along with their ability to submit digital documents such as vaccination cards, test results, any required government certification and contact tracing information.

Ready to Fly also includes links to the VeriFLY app, developed by America’s mobile health partner Daon, to help customers verify that they have met all of the required travel requirements. The VeriFLY app makes travel easier by allowing customers to enter their origin and destination, guide them through the necessary travel requirements, and ensure their readiness to travel. Customers can upload the documentation of their fulfilled requirements directly into the app, which then checks whether the documents meet the requirements of a country and displays a simple pass or fail message. Travel with ease

Many onboard service elements will return to Flagship First® and Flagship Business® on international, transcontinental and Hawaii routes from November 10th. Premium cabin customers can again enjoy course meals, drinks before departure, ice cream sundaes and espresso service.

During the summer and fall, American expanded its robust and free inflight entertainment program and added a lifestyle channel where customers can choose from a collection of more than 150 creative, productivity or language courses. This offering includes Rosetta Stone, where customers can learn Spanish, Italian, French, German, Japanese, and other languages ​​in-flight.

There are several ways to relax in front of the clients jet set. Flagship lounges, which reopened in September 2021, provides a luxurious setting for eligible customers to enjoy new menus designed by local James Beard Foundation chefs, personalized service, specialty cocktails and premium wines.

Locations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Miami International Airport (MIA) in New York were the first to welcome customers back to America’s most exclusive lounge, with the remaining three flagship lounges at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW ), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) will soon reopen.

The best network after Great Britain, Spain and Brazil

On November 8, American will have more than 150 international inbound flights in the United States, including nearly 20 transatlantic flights. The demand for flights from LHR and Brazil is almost 70% higher this week than the week before. The number of international point-of-sale customers traveling under entry restrictions in the coming week is four times higher than the week before. During the month, American will operate more than 200 daily flights on nearly 200 routes to international destinations, with that number increasing to nearly 300 daily international flights in early 2022.

American customers traveling to Europe this winter continue to fill flights to the UK and Spain, where the airline and its oneworld and Atlantic joint business partners offer more flights to the two countries than any other airline alliance. This includes almost six times as many flights between the US and the UK and almost three times as many flights between the US and Spain. American will resume service between DFW and Paris (CDG) and DFW and Madrid (MAD) earlier than expected due to increased demand. Both flights will now start on December 16.

For customers looking for a warm winter vacation, Brazil is high on the list. American and its partners offer more flights to Brazil than any other alliance. This weekend, American added more services between the United States and Brazil to meet growing demand. Just in time for Carnival, the airline added a second daily flight between MIA and Rio de Janeiro (GIG) in February. In the coming year, customers will also have a third daily flight between MIA and Sao Paulo (GRU) in January, February and March and a daily service between DFW and GRU in January and February. American is the largest airline with the most flights in all of Latin America, offering almost 30% more flights to the region than in 2019.
