Walt Disney World is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary on October 1st. With a new attraction and two new fireworks shows, Disney Park fans can’t wait to celebrate this milestone at Disney World.
The anticipation of the 50th anniversary is great and many Walt Disney World Hotels are already booked for the month of October. Here are the hotels that are still open, but I have to warn you – some of the prices are higher than you might expect!

October is going to be a very busy month for Walt Disney World Resort. Many hotels are fully booked for the month while others are almost fully booked. Since the resort will be busy, the prices of the rooms that are still available are higher than some would expect.
Disney World opens a new attraction in October – Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT – and debut two new nighttime spectacles – Harmonious at EPCOT and Disney enchantment in the magical kingdom. In addition, Animal Kingdom will have a new daily show called. open Disney dragon tails.
With so many innovations for the 50th anniversary, it’s no wonder that hotels are booked out quickly! The first seven days of October are the most open in terms of hotel availability. However, from October 7-13, the only available hotels are Coronado Springs and All-Star Music when looking for a room for two adults (see screenshot below).

From October 13-19, the only hotel option available is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for $ 654.33 per night.

In addition to All-Star Music, Coronado Springs and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, two other hotels are available from October 19 to 25 – and these are Port Orleans Riverside and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
A stay at the Grand Floridian costs $ 2,083.17 per night!

The Grand Floridian will again be unavailable for the remainder of October, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Port Orleans Riverside, All-Star Music, and Coronado Springs will still be available. Leave this great list of hotels booked for October:

If you want to book a vacation in October, it is best to book within the first seven days of the month as this is when these are most available. Even many of the partner hotels and hotels in the Disney Springs area are fully booked. Do not wait to book your vacation!
