NE minors drive big fourth inning to 11-4 win over Creek

Hosts Midland Northeast defeated Bullock Creek 11-4 on Thursday in the winners class finals of the Little League Baseball Minor (10-and-under) District 1 tournament. Northeast is advancing to the championship game on Saturday at 1pm and only needs to win once to claim the district title.

On Thursday, Northeast drew 3-3 with a six-run breakout in the bottom quarter and built an insurmountable 9-3 lead. Hayes Gallihugh, Evan Baczewski, Sully Lind and Gavin Randall-Finney each drove one run during the rally.

Gallihugh earned the win on the hill with 2 2/3 goalless, goalless innings in relief. He turned down four and went one.

Autumn Luick had two hits and was going to NE while Madden Shepardson also had two hits.
