The Pierce County Lodging Tax (LTAC) and Tourism Promotion Area (TPA) grants are funded through taxes and lodging fees. The grants are designed to invest in organizations and activities that increase the number of overnight stays across Pierce County.
For both grants, applicants must be non-profit organizations and must focus on tourism as part of their mission. The financing categories include, among other things, individual leisure marketing, event marketing and operation, event development, marketing and development of sporting events, marketing for congresses and meetings as well as asset / product development.
