WORTHINGTON – The Marshall soccer team defeated Worthington 42-6 on Friday.

Tyler Maeyaert made seven of his 14 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns, while adding seven carries for 65 yards and one more score. Jake Eben made two of his six passes for 25 yards, adding 17 yards on the ground on five carries and one touchdown. Chidi Nwakama added 53 yards with 12 carries and a touchdown, while also earning two receptions for 42 yards and a score. Keaton Maertens added two carries for 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground and three catches for 57 yards.

Defensively, Bryant Paulsen led Marshall with a total of 12 tackles, including eight for a loss and four sacks, and had a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Darrick Baartman added 86 rushing yards and a score while Cody Wichmann had 77 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Aiden Wichmann led the receive by 62 yards on five catches while Baartman added a 14 yard touchdown receive.
